ERASE

Erase cover only

ERASE is an experiment with time-domain stretching of classical tracks using Paulstretch and a wide (five to ten second) window. Unlike the usual results, the wide window erases almost all of the temporal information and transforms the incoming music into a wash of harmony that shifts across tonalities as a Rothko does across colors. It’s an uncommonly beautiful and serene effect.

ERASE clocks in at 12 tracks and over six hours. Not to worry: if you’re short on time, there are a couple of tracks that are less than ten minutes long if your journey to serenity is in need of speed.
